So far, the association has attracted 116 members of cashew processing companies, establishments and cashew clubs across the province.
In the 2013-2018 term, the association will co-ordinate with cashew farmers, processors, managers, scientists, banks and consumers to ensure sustainable development of local cashew sector and contribute to the integration of the sector into the global cashew industry.
In addition, Donacas will focus on proper cultivation plans to raise cashew yield and farmers' income.
The congress elected a 15-member executive committee for the first term. Mr Nguyen Thai Hoc, General Director of Dong Nai Import Export Processing Agricultural Products and Food Company (Donafood), was elected Chairman of Donacas.
