(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Branch of State Bank, many local banks are offering loans at the interest rate of less than 11 percent per annum; the figure accounted for over 55% of total loans. Meanwhile, interest rates of 11-15 percent made up 33.6% and interest rates at above 15 percent represented only 11.2% of total outstanding balances.
During the past months, the province-based commercial banks have reduced the deposit interest rates because of the low demand for loans. Investors have been in a divided mind as to where to pour money to since all the investment channels remain unattractive.
