Jan-Feb’s trade surplus reaches US$54.5 million

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export last two month is estimated to reach US$1,709 billion while the estimated import value is US$1,654.5 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of around US$54.5 million.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, Jan-Feb’s export turnover rises by 43.2% from year on year. Products having high export turnovers this period are honey, wood and wooden products, garment and footwear, cashew nuts, computers, electronic components.

Meanwhile, the import turnover increases by 5% from year-on-year. Of the import items, chemical saw a rise of 7%, machines and equipments for production up 3.9%, fabric up 5.5%.
