The figure saw an increase of 0.62% compared to late last year.
The bad debts of third, fourth and fifth groups were over VND1.6 trillion, representing 2.41% of total outstanding balances of the banking sector, up 0.05% against early this year.
Accordingly, the total non-performing loans accounted for 1.39 percent of total loans, up 0.13% over the beginning of this year.
