(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has withdrawn the license to the US$2 billion Nhon Trach new urban area project because its investor, Berjaya Leisure Cayman, have not registered to extend the time.
The project has been delayed for 12 months past the deadline. Under the investment license, the Nhon Trach new urban area, the biggest one in the province, covers an area of 600 ha in the district’s three communes of Long Tan, Vinh Thanh and Phuoc An.
Over the past time, Dong Nai has revoked licenses of investment projects whose deployment has fallen behind schedule.
