(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) went up by 1.35 percent and 1.7 percent compared with those of the previous month and last December respectively.
Nine out of the 11 groups of commodities saw price hikes. Particularly, the group of food and catering services has the highest price rise with 2.58% due to the high demand during the Lunar New Year.
The rise of other groups is moderate with the household appliances group up 1.55% on-month, the beverage-tobacco group 1.42%. Meanwhile, most other groups have a rise of less than 1%.
The national Consumer Price Index (CPI) in February rose by only 1.32 percent against the previous month, the General Statistics Office (GSO) announced on February 23.
