In 2012, Dofico’s turnover reported at more than VND23,800 billion (US$1.13 billion) , fulfilling 117 percent of the yearly target and increasing 1 percent against the previous year, while the rate of return on equity was 17.9 percent.
The corporation also contributed VND1,380 billion to state budget , up 25 percent over the whole year’s plan and a year-on-year rise of 5 percent. Its employees each earned an average monthly income of VND6.5 million.
In 2013, Dofico will strive to increase its revenue by 10 percent, state budget contribution by 8 percent and the return on equity by more than 13 percent.
At the conference, the corp's general director answered journalists’ queries concerning Lothamilk’s commercial dispute, the projects of Buu Long Tourist Area, Agropark, Tam Phuoc Residental Area and the human resources for Dong Nai International Hospial.
On this occasion, Dofico announced some plans for the incoming Lunar New Year (Tet), including the celebrations of Banh Tet (cylindric glutinous rice cake) festival on February 6-7 at Buu Long Tourist Area and 2-km Tet Flower Road at Tran Bien Temple of Literature on February 8-15.
