(ĐN)- Southern Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Company Ltd (SVEAM) last week organized a ceremony to mark the 45th anniversary of its foundation and received third-class Independence Medal.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Duong Quang and Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Phan Thi My Thanh.
Over the past 45 years, SVEAM has ceaselessly researched many kinds of new-generation engines. In 2011, the company made and supplied the market with around 60,000 engines, over 2,500 agricultural machines and more than 30,000 other machines, accounting for 25% of domestic market share. SVEAM ‘s products have been exported to more than 25 countries over the world.
On this occasion, the company's General Director Nguyen Van Vu received the second class Labor Medal awarded by the State President.
