(ĐN)- According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dong Nai has more than 8,200 hectares under pepper cultivation, up nearly 700 hectares compared with 2011.
The increase was due to the high price of pepper in recent years.
In 2012, the average yield of pepper accounted of nearly 2.2 tons per hectare, of which farmers could get the profit of nearly VND200 million per hectare.
