LIXIL Corp starts construction of its $441 mln factory

(ĐN)- LIXIL Corp, a global leader in building materials and housing equipment, started construction of its new factory in Dong Nai on November 22.

The US$441 mil project covers 55 hectare at Long Duc industrial park, Long Thanh district. It is the Lixil Corporation's largest project in Viet Nam and Japan's biggest project in Dong Nai Province.

The factory will produce building materials, office and housing equipment, and interior decoration items. LIXIL Corp’s products will be exported to Japan and South East Asian countries.

Speaking at the ceremony, the corporation’s leader affirmed that the corporation will try its utmost to ensure the construction of the new factory on schedule.

LIXIL Corp now possesses many famous trade names in the field of construction, such as Inax, Tostem, Sun Wave, Toex and Shin-Nikkei.
