(ĐN)- As of end-July, Dong Nai-based banks, especially state commercial banks, provided loans totaling more than VND10.2 trillion to local rural and agricultural development projects, up over 9 percent from early this year, reported Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.
The figure accounted for nearly 17 percent of total lending in the province.
Dong Nai Branch of Agribank has so far offered VND831 million in loans to help farmers reduce postharvest losses for agricultural products and aquatic products according to Decision No. 63/2010/QD-TTg. However, the figure is much lower than the set target.
