(ĐN) - Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam said that the province-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent more than VND62 trillion in Jan-August period, an increase of 7.2% from early this year.
Accordingly, loans in VND rose by nearly 7% while foreign currency loans increased by 8%.
As of end-August, the local banks mobilized over VND71 trillion in deposits, a year-on-year rise of 15%.
Particularly, deposits from individuals increased over 21% compared to the beginning of the year while those from economic organizations up nearly 6%.
