(ĐN)- It is estimated that around 126 tonnes of hazardous waste are discharged daily in the province, said Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
However, only 108 tonnes are collected and treated every day, accounting for over 85%.
Dong Nai has 20 hazardous waste treatment companies, 17 of which were licensed by Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the rest by the provincial People’s Committee.
The province will strive to treat all the amount of hazardous waste in the coming years.
