(ĐN)- As of end-April, total outstanding loans in the Dong Nai-based banks were some VND59.5 trillion, jumped 20% over the same period and 3% compared to the beginning of the year, said Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.
In particular, short-term loans increased 3.3% while medium and long-term ones rose 2.6% over late 2011.
Loans in foreign currencies rose by 4% from early this year.
Over the first four months, the banks raised more than VND65 trillion in deposits, up 30% year-on-year and 5.7% against the end of previous year.
Deposits from individuals saw an increase of 13% while those from economic organizations down by 6%.
