Dong Nai’s exports up 12% in first 4 months

(ĐN)- The revenue from Dong Nai’s exports reached more than US$3.3 billion in Jan-April period, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

Garment export up 9% in first 4 months

(ĐN)- The revenue from Dong Nai’s exports reached more than US$3.3 billion in Jan-April period, up over 12 percent from the same period last year and fulfilling 29 percent of the year’s plan, according to Department of Industry and Trade.  

Dong Nai’s major export markets are the US, Japan, China and Korea, which account for 57% of export revenues.

The department reported that many key export staples saw high growth rates this period. Cashew nuts topped the list with 11 percent rise. Electronics components followed with 10 percent. Garment and textile, rubber and footwear increased 9 percent, 7 percent and 6 percent, respectively.

Also in Jan-April, the turnover of imports was approximately US$3.5 billion, a year-on-year rise of 2.4%.

The province’s main import products included industrial chemical, machines, fabric, fertilizer, medicines and medical equipments, etc.
