(ĐN) - Until the end of March, Dong Nai province-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent more than VND58 trillion, up 4.2% against the end of 2011, of which short-term loans increased 3.5 percent while medium and long-term ones rose 25.1 percent, according to Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank of Vietnam.
The banks said that they witnessed an increase of 4.1 percent in deposits in first quarter of the year. Accordingly, deposits from individuals saw an increase of 11% compared to the beginning of the year, while those from economic organizations decreased 7.6%.
