With March's export turnover of around US$1 billion, the province's total export value in first three months increased 14 percent over the same period last year to more than US$2.5 billion.

The province, meanwhile, spent US$2.65 billion for imports in first quarter, up 5 percent year-on-year. Major import products included raw materials for production, industrial chemical and machines, etc.
