(ĐN)- There was a sharp decline in industrial values and exports in January due to long Tet holiday, reported Department of Industry and Trade.
Dong Nai’s industrial production in Jan saw a month-on-month decrease of nearly 12 percent and a year -on-year fall of 4.5 percent. Particularly, industrial production value of the non-state sector declined 22.6%, the foreign-invested sector at 2.7%, and the State-owned sector, 8%.
In January, export commodities earned US$749 million in revenue, decreased by 14 percent over the previous month and 7 percent against the same period of last year.
The province’s major export products included footwear, textile and garment, wood and wooden products, pottery, etc.
