BlueScope Buildings Viet Nam Company resumed operation of its plant in Quang Minh Industrial Zone in the capital’s Me Linh District late last week, a move to effectively return to the northern market.
“The domestic economy’s current challenges are causing many difficulties for enterprises in all sectors and we are no exception,” said acting company director Nguyen Van Phong.
“However, the difficult context also creates opportunities for us to restructure our business to better enhance our presence in the market.”
The company is an affiliate of Australian BlueScope Steel, one of the world’s leading steel enterprises. It now has another factory in the Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone.
