Jan-Nov trade gap estimated at over $1.1 bil

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export turnover is estimated at around US$8.68 billion in the first 11 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of more than 20%, fulfilling 104.5% of the yearly plan, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export turnover is estimated at around US$8.68 billion in the first 11 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of more than 20%, fulfilling 104.5% of the yearly plan, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

 

While the province’s import value was US$9.79 billion, an increase of 29% compared to the same period of last year, making up 37% of the year’s target.

The province’s trade gap in this period is estimated at more than US$1.1 billion.

Of the import items, raw cashew nuts saw the sharpest rise of nearly 300% (more than 25,000 tones), followed by tobacco materials with 70% increase, raw materials for production up over 20%, industrial chemical up 20%.
