Nearly VND 970 billion to be invested in Cash Crops Development Project

(ĐN)- Dong Nai is planning to invest close to VND 970 billion in Cash Crops Development Project from now until 2015. Of this, nearly VND 720 billion will be contributed by local people and almost VND 250 billion will come from the provincial budget.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai is planning to invest close to VND 970 billion in Cash Crops Development Project from now until 2015. Of this, nearly VND 720 billion will be contributed by local people and almost VND 250 billion will come from the provincial budget.

Under the project, coffee, pepper, mango, durian and pomelo become major cash crops of Dong Nai. Accordingly, it is planned to bring over 1,250 hectares in the province under cash crops. The largest cultivation areas in the province will include the three districts of Cam My, Xuan Loc and Tan Phu.
 
With the project’s support, farmers will be able to develop high-value and sustainable crops in order to enhance access to markets, helping raise income for farmers.
