(ĐN)- Prolonged heavy rain from typhoon Nesat or tropical storm No.5 has caused floods and damaged tens of thousands of hectares of vegetables in Phuc Nhac 2 hamlet, Gia Tan 3 commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province.
In 2011, over 60 hectares of vegetables were grown in Gia Tan 3 commune and more than half of which were damaged by floods. All this damage adversely affected the lives of local farmers.
