Dong Nai sees four-fold increase in coffee export

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s coffee exports estimated to reach more than 82,000 tonnes in the first nine months of this year, a four-fold increase compared to the same period of last year.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s coffee exports estimated to reach more than 82,000 tonnes in the first nine months of this year, a four-fold increase compared to the same period of last year. Coffee prices have seen successive steep increases since early January.

Since the beginning of the year, coffee was the largest export earner of agricultural products. At present, Dong Nai has over 18,300 ha of coffee under cultivation; of which, around 17,600 ha are in harvest time. Cam My, Trang Bom, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts are home to Dong Nai's major coffee growing areas.
