(ĐN)- Dong Nai is now home to more than 30 industrial zones (IZ) including 22 operational IZs, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority.
Until now, 20 out of 22 industrial zones in the province have brought their consolidated wastewater treatment systems into operation with capacity of 81,000 m3/day-night. Two industrial zones, Ong Keo and Thanh Phu, still have not completed their wastewater treatment systems yet because they are facing obstacles in land clearance and compensation.
Dong Nai will strive to increase the number of IZs having standard waste water treatment systems to 100 percent in the coming time.
In addition, 15 industrial zones have planned to build solid waste transfer stations to reduce the environmental pollution.
