(ĐN)- Tri An Hydropower Plant has announced that the discharge of flood water from the plant started at 9:30 a.m on September 30. Discharged water flow from the reservoir of Tri An Hydropower Plant into Dong Nai River is likely to reach around 1,080 cubic meters per second.
The flood peak in Dong Nai river came from September 28-29. Therefore, people living in the lowland are not at risk of flooding when Tri An Hydropower Plant releases water, says the Provincial Hydrometeorology Forecast Centre.
The Centre also warned in the coming days the weather in Dong Nai will get worse due to the affect of the strong southwest wind.
