(ĐN)- Due to the affect of the strong southwest monsoon, Dong Nai is expected to have heavy rains, thunderstorms and whirlwinds in the next few days, according to the Provincial Hydrometeorology Forecast Centre.
The weather will stay hot in most parts of the province in the coming days. The average temperature in the province will range between 26 to 28 degrees celcius and while the highest temperature will hover between 33 to 35 degrees celcius.
The Centre also warned that thunderstorms and whirlwinds may occur in the province in the late day or night on sunny and hot days.
The centre asked residents living in high areas or along the rivers and the springs threatened by possible thunderstorms and whirlwinds to put on alert to prevent human and property loss.
