(ĐN)- Dong Nai will plant more than 30,000 hectares of rice for the 2011-2012 crop year, according to the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. So far, nearly 4,000 hectares of rice have been planted for the 2011-2012 crop year in the province.
The largest cultivation areas in the province included the three districts of Xuan Loc, Long Thanh and Nhon Trach and Long Khanh town.
Most of farmers in the province cultivated rice varieties known as OM 6162, OM 4218, OM4900, VD20 … for the current crop year.
