(ĐN)- Agricultural materials, seedlings and breeding animals totaling close to VND 14 billion were sold to farmers in Dong Nai on a deferred-payments programme in the first nine months of the year. Farmers purchased 2,451 tons of fertilizers, almost 109,000 seedlings, nearly 2,800 breeding animals and hundreds of boxes of pesticides.
The progamme was held by the Provincial Farmers’ Association in coordination with some fertilizer companies and agricultural materials companies inside and outside Dong Nai.
Under this progamme, farmers can repay their purchases without interest charges.
