(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s trade deficit likely jumped to US$1 billion in the first nine months of the year. Dong Nai’s export turnover surpassed US$7 billion while the province imported products worth over US$ 8 billion during the first nine months of the year, up 30.3 percent and 23.7 percent respectively from the same period last year.
In September alone, export commodities earned US$915.9 million in revenue, increased by 3.2 percent over the previous month while the import value reached US$995 million, up 2.8 percent over the previous month.
Major import products were raw materials for production.
