(ĐN)- Dong Nai branch of State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a meeting on Tuesday to review the one-year implementation of the credit policies for agricultural and rural development outlined in Government Decree No.41/2010/ND-CP. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc attended the event.
By late July, Dong Nai-based banks have provided more than VND8.4 trillion loans to boost rural and agricultural development projects, up over 2 percent from early this year, reported Dong Nai branch of SBV. The figure accounted for over 16 percent of total lending in the province.
Addressing at the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc urged Dong Nai-based banks to push up the lending to the clients in agriculture and rural areas and create favorable conditions for farmers to access loan.
