(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s consumer price index in August saw a month-on-month increase of 0.88 percent, according to the Department of Industry and Trade.

Out of the eleven listed groups of consumer goods, the groups of textile and garments, footwear, food and catering services, household tools, electricity, water, fuel supply and construction materials saw a high increase.
The figure has jumped 20% over the same period last year and 14.5% from last December.
Over the past 8 months, catering services increased 20,98% while housing, electricity, water, fuel supply and construction materials saw a rise of 14.6%; transport sector rose by 19,7%.
