Dona durian was selected by Dona-Techno and bred from Thailand’s Mong Thon durian. The fruit received good feedback from US customers.
Over the past time, the company has invested to plant an additional 1,200 hectares of durian in Dong Nai to meet both domestic and export demand. It is expected that the US will be an attractive market for durian.
