Vicasa plans to start construction of its new plant later this year.
Bien Hoa 1 IP was built in 1963 on an area of 323 hectares. At the moment, there are still 96 enterprises operating at this industrial park and most of the enterprises are using backward production technologies, so they are polluting the Dong Nai River.
As know, Vicasa as a private company was constructed in May 1967, located at Bien Hoa 1 IP and it was officially put into operation in 1969. In 1975, Vicasa became a state-owned company. Vicasa’s name has undergone many changes over the years and it was restructured to become a Joint Stock Company in 2007. The company has undergone many innovations and improvements and it has become situated among the leading steel producers in the country.
