(ĐN)- This statement was made by Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai at a recent conference in the province to review the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to consuming Vietnamese commodities” for the past year and a half.
During the period, a week-long fair of Vietnamese goods has been held successively in the province for two times. The event has attracted the participation of a large number of supermarkets, trade centers and big traditional markets in the province. In addition, the province has launched the campaign to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas with 33 trade fairs which took place in the districts around the province. The fairs attracted more than 127,000 visitors. The province has also organized 4 fairs for workers in the province’s industrial zones and the fairs attracted more than 28,000 shoppers.
The conference also honored 20 outstanding collectives who have made achievements in the campaign.
