(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s industrial production in the first seven months of the year surged 17.2 per cent against the same period in 2010 to over VND67.6 trillion, the Department of Industry and Trade reported.

Eight out of nine industrial sectors in Dong Nai saw increases, led by food and agricultural product processing, up 21.1 per cent, textile-garments-footwear, up 20.5 per cent, mechanics, 19.8 per cent, wood and bamboo products, up 18.6 percent, and construction materials, up 11.5 per cent,
In July alone, industrial production was valued at more than VND10 trillion, up 1 per cent on the previous month.
Items that is estimated to achieve good growth in July included textile-garments-footwear, wood and bamboo products, rubber and plastic, and mechanics
