
(ĐN)- Three-season mango growers in Dinh Quan district’s Thanh Son commune, Dong Nai province said that the price of the sale of mango at the garden is VND3,000 per kilo, down by VND 2,000 – VND 3,000 compared with the beginning of the mango season, an equivalent of one-fourth of its sale price during the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

The mango price droped by VND 2,000 per kilo compared to May 2010. However, the price of Thai mango stays at VND 19,000 – VND 20,000 per kilo, up VND 3,000 to VND 4,000 compared with the same period last year.
Thanh Son commune is well known for its production of mangoes including three-season mango, Thai mango, Hoa Loc sweet mango and Taiwan mango. At present, hundreds of hectares are under mango cultivation in the commune.
