(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s retail sales of goods and services in February is estimated at more than VND5.8 trillion, up 0.8 percent month-on-month. The figure brings the province’s total two-month retail sales to over 11.6 trillion, surged 40.5 percent against the same period of last year, fulfilling 17 percent of the year’s target.
The non-state sector registered the highest retail sales growth among other economic sectors. It saw a revenue increase of 42.3 percent year-on-year to VND10.33 trillion, making up 16.9 percent of the year’s plan.
The foreign-owned sector followed with total retail sales rising by 27.7 percent to VND566 billion, accounting for 17.1 percent of the target for 2011
The State-owned sector grew at 27.4 percent to VND756.9 billion, fulfilling 17.2 percent of the plan.
