(ĐN)- Corn growers in Dong Nai province’s Long Thanh district say that they are harvesting their autumn –winter crop. They harvested a bumper autumn –winter crop with the yield of over 6 tonnes per hectare on average.
Presently, the corn prices stay above VND 4,000 a kilogram, up VND 500 compared to August 2010. With this price, local farmers can get a profit of about VND 20 million every hectare of corn after the production cost is deducted.
