After five years of operation as a parent company, Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation has achieved satisfactory results, its subsidiaries supported each other in their sharing of market information, supplying raw materials and consuming their products.

Over the past five years, Dofico has invested hundreds of billion dong in new projects in order to raise production capacity, diversify business activities as well as enhance competitiveness capability. Particularly, the corporation put into operation its food processing and poultry, livestock slaughtering plant (D&F) in Trang Bom district to supply safe and clean food to local consumers and foreign markets, partnered with some other groups to build a complex of agriculture and industry. In this period, the Dofico also raised its stake at Lothamilk to 52 percent and at Proconco, a Vietnamese-French joint venture specializing in animal feed production, to 17%.
In 2010, Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation changed its abbreviated name from Donataba to Dofico.

In the next period 2010-2015, Dofico will strive to increase its revenue by 9 percent, profit by 15 percent and state budget contribution by 8 percent.
