(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported an export turnover of US$7.1 billion in 2010, more than 20% year-on-year rise. Particularly, exports from central enterprises increased 8.6%; the local enterprises up nearly 13%, and the foreign-invested enterprises up over 21%.

Some export commodities posted impressive year-on-year growth in 2010, including coffee (15%), honey (27%), footwear (10.5%), refined wooden products (13%) and garment (8%).
Rubber and cashew nut exports decreased compared to the previous year.
This year, the province’s import value reached US$8.15 billion, an increase of 12% against 2009.
Of the import items, raw materials for production saw the sharpest rise of 20%, followed by raw cashew nuts with 17.5% increase.
Import revenue from fertilizer slid most; it was 37.5% lower than the previous year. Medicines and medical equipment and industrial chemical followed, declining 18.2% and 8.9 %, respectively.
