(ĐN)- Dong Nai is now home to more than 118,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to statistics from Department of Industry and Trade.
In the 2006-2010 period, the SMEs’ export turnover accounted for over 15 percent of the province’s total export earnings. Most of Dong Nai’s traditional handicraft products such as hand-made pottery, fine arts wood, bamboo and rattan products, are made by the SMEs.
Presently, the SMEs are making efforts to raise their competitiveness, improve human resources and access to loans for production development.
