(ĐN)- The price of pepper in Dong Nai province has hit its four-year record high, reaching VND81,000 per kilo for black pepper and VND110,000 per kilo for white pepper. The price of pepper in the province increased by almost VND 4,000 per kilo compared with July 2010.
Dong Nai now boasts about 7,000 hectares of pepper; of which, over 6,000 hectares are in harvest time, with an average yield of 1.8 tons per ha. Pepper cultivation in Dong Nai is largely concentrated in districts of Xuan Loc,
