The figure brings the province’s total eight-month retail sales up to more than VND32.8 trillion, or 57.4 per cent of the year’s target, an increase of 25.5 percent against the same period last year.

The province earned over US$585.8 million from exports in August alone, up 2.4 percent month-on-month, bringing total exports in the first eight months to US$4,510 million, up 23.5 percent over the same period last year, fulfilling 42.8 percent of the year’s target.
In August, Dong Nai registered an import turnover of US$715.5 million, up 1.4 percent month-on-month, raising total import turnover to US$5,656 million in the past eight months of the year, or 76 percent of the year’s target, up 42.8 percent over the same period last year.
