(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai recently held a working session with representatives of the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Donataba) to discuss the construction of an industrial and agricultural complex named Agro Park. This is a joint venture project between Donataba and a firm based in France’s Bretagne Region with a total investment of around VND 2 trillion.
The park will cover about 1,700 hectares within the communes of Xuan Tam, Xuan Thanh, Xuan Hung and Lo 25. The park is expected to attract investments in the agriculture and agro-processing. Currently, the investor is reportedly facing problems in land clearance and compensation.
At the working session, Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai acknowledged difficulties facing the investor. He also urged the investor to overcome difficulties and speed up construction progress because this project would provide jobs and help develop pig farming and the growth of vegetables, ultimately playing a role in the province’s social and economic development and helping reduce poverty.
