In this period, the province licensed 18 new foreign-invested projects with a combined registered capital of US$34.4 million and 12 new domestic projects capitalized at more than VND2.8 trillion. Most of new FDI projects were small scale with investment of less than US$ 2 million each.
The province has so far attracted foreign direct investment worth US$12.3 bllion in 821 projects and domestic investment worth VND28.8 trillion in 295 projects.
