Ocean Commercial Bank and Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank agreed last Saturday to lend VND1.15 trillion (US$60.5 million) to PetroVietnam Nhon Trach No 2 Power Joint Stock Company to build the Nhon Trach No 2 power plant project in southern Dong Nai Province.

The 750MW power plant, which is part of the national power development plan for the 2006-15 period, is expected to generate 4.5 billion kWh a year. It is scheduled to be completed in 30 months since the start of construction last June.
