Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance reviews its 2007 activities

Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai offers certificates of merit to units

(ĐN)- On 3 April, a meeting to review last year’s activities and to begin this year’s tasks was held by Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance with an attendance of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai. Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman requested further efforts from the alliance to train and develop human resources to catch up with modern technology, and establish joint ventures with other cooperatives and economic components in order to expand market and enhance the competitive strength

In 2008, the alliance will strive to establish 20 new cooperatives and people credit funds. Additionally, more efforts will be made to increase number of advanced symbolic cooperatives and develop new model of housing cooperative in Nhon Trach district.

So far, 175 cooperatives, cooperative alliances and people credit funds have been set up in Dong Nai with total charter capital of over VND228 billion.
