(ĐN)- Bien Hoa Sugar J.S Company has invested hundred of millions of dongs in its Thanh Long sugar-cane farm in Tay Ninh province to improve productivity, quality and reduce production cost.
In 2007, Bien Hoa Sugar Company produced 78,124 tones of refined sugar. It reported a turnover of more than VND643.4 billion, a before-tax profit of over VND53.6 billion and a paid dividend of 18 percent. The company contributed more than VND23.7 billion to State budget last year. As known, Bien Hoa Sugar J.S Company bought Tri An sugar factory with a price of VND54 billion and renamed it Tri An-Bien Hoa sugar factory. The factory is now operating with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes of sugar-cane per day.
