At the ceremony, six enterprises will be presented Vietnam Quality Golden Prize 2006 including Dong Nai Rubber Company, 122 enterprises awarded VQA in 2006. In addition, the Asia- Pacific Quality Organization will grant the International Asia Pacific Quality Award to two Vietnamese enterprises of Hanoi Beverage Corporation (Habeco) and Hanaka Electric Equipment Factory.
The Vietnam Quality Award has been established in 1995 by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The VQA aims at encouraging production business and service organizations to improve quality of their activities for higher competitiveness on the domestic and overseas markets. The VQA is annually presented to organizations with outstanding quality achievements, positive impacts on the society and good business performance.
