First made-in-Vietnam Meguro Fire Escape Ladders to make debut in October

(ĐN)- Meguro Vietnam Co., Ltd as owned by Japan Fire Safety Group put into operation in Amata Industrial Park on September 15 with its initial investment of US$ 300,000. Thereafter, the Japan Fire Safety Group has increased investment in this project to US$1 million.

Thereafter, the Japan Fire Safety Group has increased investment in this project to US$1 million. Meguro Vietnam is Vietnam’s first base where provides fire-escape ladders in order to ensure safe exit in the event of a fire or other emergency for multi-story home, apartment building or office use.   

The company expects to launch the first made-in-Vietnam Meguro fire-escape ladders in October, 2005. It has an initial output capacity of 1000 units per month. Presently, Japan Meguro’s fire-escape ladders are displaying in showroom at Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority organization (DIZA). In August, the Provincial People’s Committee practiced fire-escape plan with use of Meguro’s fire-escape ladders that showed as a valuable, rapid means of escape and rescue of people. Price for Meguro’s fire-escape ladders sold in Japan under 1-year warranty is JY 200,000 which includes installation cost. After warranty period expired, maintenance of fire-escape ladder is done twice per year with its cost around JY 50,000. However, Meguro’s fire-escape ladders made in Vietnam are sold at the lower prices.
